more than half an hour after the picture of Shawn was taken in the cave standing knee deep in water clutching the cave wall. 

One of the three men shown in this picture seems to be Rob.  One of the men seems to be wearing blue jeans, a dark shirt, and a beige cap; the other seems to be wearing dark colors with white sleeves.

Note that there is someone else standing at the overlook?   

The key questions are:  Did they see anything?  Did someone speak with them?  What did he say?  Did they see him throw anything into the water?  Was he wet?
